It hurts me to do this especially after all the work I just completed, but space needs to be made so I can build my dream car (65 Mustang GT350). Over the past 2 months, I have done the following work: - SRM (silly rabbit motorsports) K24+ turbos - Cobb 1000cc injectors - Cobb accessport with Sambydesign tune - factory 996 GT2 coilovers installed with agency drop links- Tarett front camber plates - new front wheel bearings - new front control arms - refinished/rebuilt calipers with new stoptech pads all around - fresh spark plugs - 19 HRE flowform wheels - 997 ignition coils - fuel filter replaced 04/2016 The car also has the following: - Forge boost hoses - Agency power diverter valves - Agency power exhaust with cats - Fabspeed intake - 997 SSK - Torque solutions motor mounts - Torque solutions rear toe arms - Sachs 764 PP/GT2 clutch disc Ive had the car for a little over 2 years and it has been meticulously cared for by myself. I replaced the water pump in July 2014 with an OEM unit along with a new serpentine belt. The car is a factory aero package with a full leather interior, porsche crests on the headrests and red seatbelts. The leather is in fantastic shape and has been cared for with leatherique. It shows no signs of etc. The carpet is also fade/stain free. The car has been converted to RWD but still have the components to reinstall. The paint is in overall fantastic shape with the front bumper showing some chips as to be expected. The car runs fantastic and pulls like a freight train with the K24+ turbos from SRM. I am looking for a quick sale and will take REASONABLE offers.

Porsche testing new 911 GTS

Porsche may have one more vehicle in its stable with the GTS moniker, if these spy shots are any indication. They show off the presumed 911 GTS lapping the track - the model meant to slide in under the GT3 to be a bit more driver-friendly but still very fast alternative to a stock Carrera.
At first glance, it might look like any other 911, but the devil is in the details. The most obvious among the differences are two centrally mounted exhaust outlets, rather than the ones closer to the corners on most of the current models. They also aren't perfectly in the center like the GT3. The taillights are also somewhat thicker than the current ones, and the rear decklid is split into three exposed sections.
This is the third time we've seen the presumed GTS. The first was as a coupe late last year. Then it showed up again in March testing in convertible form. Although, that version also sported fender vents at the rear.

Here's a chance to acquire a celebrity-owned vehicles, and this time at a discount instead of a premium. So the celebrity in this case is Consumer Reports, that magazine that could be equally adored and abhored by car enthusiasts. CR buys all of its test vehicles and usually finds willing second owners within its own ranks, but its opening its small used-car lot to the public. On the forecourt are four roadsters: an automatic 2012 Audi TT 2.0 TFSI Quattro S-Tronic with 6,600 miles for $36,500, a manual 2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i with 8,400 miles for $45,000, a manual 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK250 for $39,500 and a manual 2013 Porsche Boxster with 7,000 miles for $48,000.
Those numbers mean a savings of $9,000 to $10,000 before haggling - each car is listed with an "Asking price" so there could be some wiggle room if you show up with pockets full of dough and eyes full of serious intent. Since the money CR earns from the sales go back into the magazine's budget to buy more test cars, however, it probably won't take any oddball trades, so you can forget about getting any purchasing help from that track-day AMC Javelin project on blocks in the back yard.
The vehicles have been taken care of and spiffed up for sale; buyers will take delivery at the CR test track in East Haddam, Connecticut and get a tour of the facilities. While you're there they'll even take you on a lap around the track so you can feel how your car handles when driven by one of its testers. They will probably not help you with advice on which toaster and dehumidifier to buy - you'll still need to get a subscription for that. VW makes $23K on every Porsche sold, more than Bentley or Lamborghini

It's a good time to be in the luxury car business. In Volkswagen Group's financial report for the 2013 fiscal year, it is revealed that that Porsche enjoyed an operating margin of 18 percent. That means the Stuttgart brand made on average about $23,200 per car sold, according to BusinessWeek. Bentley wasn't far behind, and Audi (which was combined with Lamborghini) posted a 10.1 percent margin. This compares to only around 2.9 percent for the Volkswagen brand.
"Luxury brands are on fire," said Dave Sullivan, an industry analyst at AutoPacific. He said that the average profit margin is between six and eight percent. Brands like Porsche and Bentley have the benefit of competing in rarefied markets. Buyers looking at one their vehicles have fewer models to shop against and don't care as much about price. They can also charge more for options, which further boosts income, according to BusinessWeek.
In a way, we should be more impressed by the continued success from Audi. Its models generally have direct competitors in every segment from the other premium automakers. Plus, their buyers aren't the captains of industry who are shopping for a Bentley. Still, the Four Rings is leading rivals in sales so far this year.
