310 hp. Quality header gains are up to 20% =372 hp. As you know the m28/21's dyno @ 330 + hp. That has gains to 396 hp. , this car has headers with in line super turbo mufflers. ( the us models are 234 &288 hp. ). Shiny black second paint ext. Blk canvas top and pwr glass moon roof, both are rare. Some Porsche people say factoy installed but not factory, some say euro after market, I don't know , the headliner is molded to /for the larger meshed glass, sun roof. ( a euro trend back in the day?) . all seating is new , good carpet, porsche matts . 5 speed with rear final drive 2.73. Porsche says this combo is a 145 mile per hour car. Has a/c but , needs charged or converted to 134 . Has the period correct blk/ gold to include gold center BBS rims. Starts, runs, stops , and handles beautifully. All lighting works, heater too. Has spare and factory tool kit. Red rear euro fog light and no big rubber bumpers at the license plate sides, and single side marker lights . ( The Oregon title says reconstructed, haven't learned what this represents) ( However my 98 S 10 was deemed totaled after a30 mph and slowing, deer strike. Yup,$113.00 of E bay aftermarket parts," head light, grill and blinker light. and its my to work and back ride again). Not to say the DMV is wrong, just that the Porsche drives like / feels like a 80,000 mile car. Guessing Im owner #3. ( yes the front spoiler/bib) is missing do to the retired gent I got it from. He broke it on a parking stop and took it off. Has crack in dash under the covering. Timing belt serviced by age not mileage .He also did the timing belt. Est belts age. @ 18 months old. By inspection the looks of the water pump is not as new as the belt, see pic's . Thanks for looking. I will return calls, emails ...541-680-0053, PS: the vin in the official box is a 914 I have, EBAY is not able to process the European vin. vin# wp0zzz92zes841383. . unfortunately receipts were not forwarded to me. I have pictures of the timing belt inspection posted. All pictures are June 2013and fall of 2012, pictures are sun and no sun plus shadows , not bright blue not light blue, best description, med. dark blue. Very solid car, happy bidding

Drive-up bank robbery perpetrated with Cayenne and WRX
Sat, 14 Sep 2013Thieves carried out what appears to be a movie-script-perfect robbery of a bank in Sydney, Australia early on Friday morning, using two stolen high-performance vehicles in the process.
At around 11:15 AM local time, in near mid-day light, reports say that two men in masks smashed into the side of a Westpac bank in a confirmed-stolen black Porsche Cayenne. The perpetrators were armed with sledgehammers according to witness reports, and took only about five minutes to take what they were after inside of the bank.
The rapid getaway was executed in a Subaru WRX, also confirmed as a stolen vehicle, while witnesses snapped camera phone images of the illicit goings on. One Twitter user posted a few of the images to his social media feed; you can take a look at them in our small gallery below. Follow on down for the full video report, from The Sydney Morning Herald.
Porsche ready to pick itself up after Le Mans failure
Mon, 23 Jun 2014It's safe to say that things for Porsche didn't go quite as well at Le Mans this year as it might have hoped. After a sixteen-year gap, the winningest manufacturer in endurance racing history returned to the Circuit de la Sarthe this year hoping maybe not for outright victory in its first time back, but definitely a strong finish on which it could build on for next year. All the while it undoubtedly hoped its 911s would hold their own in the GT classes.
Unfortunately for Porsche, neither happened. After racing around the clock, and despite actually leading the festivities for some time, the best its 919 Hybrid could manage was an eleventh-place finish, lagging lamentably behind not only the other LMP1s (like the race-winning Audi) but also a handful of LMP2s. Meanwhile the LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am titles went to the factory-backed teams of its arch-rivals Ferrari and Aston Martin, respectively.
Not a stellar result, in other words, but Porsche is taking it all in stride - accepting that it has a ways to go while congratulating its vanquishing rivals in the video below. It's good sportsmanship if we've ever seen it. Next year's race starts now.
2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S
Fri, 19 Jul 2013I don't care who you are; when a new Porsche 911 rolls up in your driveway, that's a pretty good day. This was my very first experience with Porsche's 991 911, and after having spent time with just about every tune and trim of the last car, I was hotly anticipating comparing and contrasting.
Somehow (I don't remember sending out any cash-filled, unmarked envelopes) I'd scored a week in the 911 Carrera 4S over a long holiday weekend, too. That meant that I'd get to A) log a ton of miles in one of the best cars in the world, B) get to show-off the Porsche to family and friends and C) tempt cops in three states to pull me over. Good thing I've got the Autoblog traffic lawyer on speed dial...
