You are bidding on my 2003 SAAB 9-3 SE Convertible. I bought the car used but am the second owner and have had it since it had about 25,000 miles and 9 years, I beleive. Always garaged and maintained. The car always starts and runs. I have not driven it (limited basis) since last fall other than a few short rides to get the cobwebs out over the winter. Just drove it a few days ago and ran great. I have replaced a number of items over the years including front struts. Front brakes I pretty good. Could use rears. Tires are better than 50%. Interior is in good condition other than wear on driver seat. Body is a great blue color that is not seen to often, with a blue top. I have loved the car but moving and cannot keep two vehicles anymore. MANY GREAT THINGS BUT NOT PERFECT. PLEASE SEE PROPERTY DESCRIPTION ABOVE FOR SOME ITEMS THAT I KNOW ARE WRONG. While I do have a reserve, it is pretty low, I feel, based on what I have seen trading. It would be a shame not to maintain and drive it but it would also make a tremendous parts car too. Very Spring I would say that I should sell and the first nice day would come along and I would keep it another summer! It's been a fun car! GOOD LUCK and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Spyker to appeal dismissal of Saab lawsuit against GM
Fri, 21 Jun 2013It seems as if Spyker CEO Victor Muller has made a decision on whether or not to pursue a legal battle between his company and General Motors. Spyker has announced it will appeal a US District Court decision to throw out the company's lawsuit against GM. As you may recall, on June 10 Judge Gershwin Drain ruled tht GM had a right to approve or disapprove Spyker's sale of Saab to Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile. Spyker sued GM for some $3 billion, claiming that the American automaker had forced Saab into bankruptcy by stopping Spyker from transferring intellectual property to its Chinese partner.
Spyker has said only that it plans to appeal the decision. Until now, the company has been silent about the ruling. GM, meanwhile, has said it is pleased with the original outcome. You can read the quick Spyker press release below for more information.
GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.

3 former Saab execs charged with tax evasion
Mon, 20 May 2013The Associated Press reports three former Saab executives have been arrested on charges of accounting fraud. Swedish prosecutor Olof Sahlgren has refused to identify the individuals, but says they're suspected of attempting to evade taxes by falsifying Saab accounts between 2010 and 2011 during the Spyker years. Other reports indicate the parties involved include former General Counsel to Saab Kristina Geers (seen to the left of former CEO Victor Muller, above), a 15-year-veteran of the company - her husband, Eric, was the company's communications director for 9 years as well.
Saab filed for bankruptcy in 2011, and was purchased shortly thereafter by National Electric Vehicle Sweden. If convicted, the trio could face up to four years in prison for their crimes under Swedish law.
