2009 Toyota Matrix S Wagon 4-door 2.4l Awd ,,,certified Warranty on 2040-cars
Hackettstown, New Jersey, United States
I purchased this car from Gateway Toyota as a Demo with 6K miles as a Certified Preowned and it has a transferable warranty good till 2/16 or 100K miles. Alpine detachable stereo with Bluetooth for phone. Custom black seat covers over light gray seats. All services done on a regular basis and tires and brakes were done at about 38K miles. New water pump replaced under warranty and battery replaced last year. I had a minor accident with the car about 6 months after buying it. While stopped at a light, a women made an illegal turn in front of me and the contact pulled the lower front fascia from the car. I drove it home and after repair from shop, no further issues. It has been a great car but it is an extra car at this point so I have decided to sell. Cash deal only or certified check from a well known NJ bank. NO DEALERS OR BROKERS 973 479 2972 if you have questions. |

Toyota i-ROAD leans its way into the city [w/video]
Mon, 04 Mar 2013According to Toyota, the "i-ROAD takes the company closer to its goal of creating the ultimate range of eco cars." As you're surely aware, that range of eco cars includes the enormously successful Prius family, but this new machine is nothing like the hybrid hatchback. And it's not even a car - Toyota calls the i-ROAD a Personal Mobility Vehicle.
Toyota's i-ROAD Concept, which debuts at this week's Geneva Motor Show, is adorned with just three wheels, meaning it's just as much a motorcycle as it is a car, and the driver and passenger sit in tandem style instead of side-by-side. This arrangement allows for a very thin 850mm width, which is about the same as a large motorcycle. Because the cockpit is enclosed, the occupants don't need helmets, nor are they open to the elements outside.
Also like a traditional two-wheeler, the i-ROAD tilts through the turns and when driving on uneven surfaces. Toyota says its computer-controlled Active Lean technology automatically balances the vehicle with no input from the driver.
Toyota sizzle reel gives better look at i-Road Geneva concept
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Toyota is taking the tiny tandem Tango to Tron town. In a teaser video for the new i-Road, debuting at the Geneva Motor Show next week, we catch a light-bike-like glimpse of Toyota's quirky tandem-seat concept. We still don't know much about the vehicle itself, but the video does flash the words "fun, compact, emissions-free," which suggests this is an electric ride. Then comes the apparent tagline: "i Roll, i Rock i Road." An indication that the tilting image we see in the video isn't just a special effect, perhaps? We'll have to wait until we get to Switzerland next week to find out. Until then, you can watch the video below.
In more earthly reveals, Toyota will also show off its hotly anticipate FT-86 Open sports car concept and Auris Touring Sports wagon on its Geneva show stand.
Toyota says you might have the 40-millionth Corolla ever built
Sat, 07 Sep 2013The guy who bought the 50-millionth Toyota in the US got a free Camry and RAV4, but whoever in the world bought the 40-millionth Corolla in August gets a hearty "thank you" from the Japanese automaker. On sale since 1966, the Corolla is the best-selling nameplate in the world by a goodly margin (more than the Volkswagen Beetle and Ford Model T combined). So while you'd think that vehicle number 40 million would be sitting in a museum somewhere, Toyota can't even say in which country this milestone Corolla was sold, let alone to which customer.
One reason that Toyota is unsure where this Corolla was sold is the fact that the Corolla name itself is more than just the compact sedan sold in the US. On our shores alone, sales of the Matrix are lumped in with the Corolla, but around the world, numerous vehicles wear the Corolla name or share its platform. Scroll down for Toyota's press release, and it has also put together a website celebrating 47 years and 40 million sales for the Corolla... and counting.
