I purchased this car new in Phoenix and drove it home to Malibu smiling all the way.  I still have the original factory sticker and the dealers sticker showing it marked up $75,000 over factory sticker.  This is an exceptional Ford GT.  It has spent its entire life cruising  the switchbacks of the California mountains, coast and desserts.  In fact, the car is well known among the Ford GT f0rum west coast members.  My screen name is Woboose and if you search that site you will see dozens of photos / videos of this actual car in action.  It is equipped with FORD FACTORY RACING PIPES which put out the sexiest throaty rumble known to man along with an occasional puff of flame rewarding a proper aggressive downshift, plus TUNER CHIP all installed by Muscle Motors (a favorite speed shop of GT owners).  It also has installed hidden radar jammers (not just detectors) which is why it was the lead car for many of our super car rallies.  Track approved fire extinguisher.

All service and maintenance done by Buerge Ford in West Los Angeles.  Complete records on file.  A word about mileage:  If you are a collector lo0king to pay $100,000 more for a storage queen with less than 1000 miles, please do not call.  This is not the car for you.  However, if you like to drive, this car will be waiting in your stables every morning like a chocolate lab, wagging her tail, and panting - anticipating the nod for the hunt.  Truly, this car has been my passion since purchase.  With an insatiable appetite for over priced Italian, we routinely cruised Pacific Coast Hwy devouring Ferraris and Lambos along the way.  I am selling because my reflexes are not what they used to be due to a health issue.  I am new to EBAY returning just to sell this car.  However I can provide 20 names and references of enthusiasts who know me and the car.  There is a minor cosmetic scrape under the front lower passenger parking light which I (like many others)did while parking at a high curb.  I have intentionality not repaired it so there could be full disclosure.  This car has been photographed for print, tv and film.

Here is an old video of this car leading 26 GTs through the Malibu Mountains.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLq3cAMXGPc

Ford unveils next-gen S-Max in Europe

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

Let's get this unfortunate though important tidbit out of the way right off the bat: The Ford S-Max isn't sold in the United States, and it's not coming here, at least not anytime soon. And so it's with our European friends in mind that we share this information about the next-gen S-Max (previewed about a year ago in concept form) that is set to debut all across Europe next year and will be shown off at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Now, moving on...
As with the first-gen S-Max, the new model will boast seating for seven passengers, along with a decent amount of storage space, all packed into a relatively reasonably sized package. Powering the front wheels (or optionally all four) will be the buyer's choice of EcoBoost gasoline-turbocharged or turbo-diesel four-cylinder engines along with automatic and manual transmission options. Included in the mix is a new 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 160 horsepower, though the 240-horse 2.0 is likely to be seen as the headliner.
There are all kinds of new technologies on offer, ranging from Adaptive Steering to Dynamic LED Headlamps with Glare-Free Highbeams, and it's all housed inside new, more sleekly designed bodywork riding atop a chassis with new suspension architecture designed to make the S-Max a people-hauler that's still fun to drive. For all the details, we suggest you scroll down below to read through Ford's official press release.

2016 Ford Mustang SVT hides big power under its domed hood

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

With a number of 2015 Ford Mustang versions finally available to configure, the fun of speculating about next year's high-performance 'Stang can now begin. It looks like Ford has something seriously fun planned too. One of our spy photographers just snapped some fresh pics of the 2016 Mustang SVT, which is believed to be hiding the final body shape under all of that heavy camouflage.
Ford clearly doesn't want prying eyes looking at its new pride and joy. It would be hard to put much more obfuscation on a car than this one wears - it even has mesh baffles around the exhausts to conceal how many there are and panels over the wheels to hide their design. However, the Blue Oval can't keep everything a secret. The biggest clue that something special is hidden underneath is the massive hood bulge and vent in front of it. Clearly, whatever is under there is hungry for cool air. The shape of the camo indicates that there may be fender vents on each side, and there are also obscured outlets behind the front wheels likely to pull cool air through the brakes. At the rear, the concealment does its job, making it hard to observe any big changes. The fact that Ford wants it kept such a secret might indicate something, though.
A few photos of the interior show far less cover than the outside. You can easily make out the model's 6,500 rpm redline with a possible 7,000 rpm over-rev function. The big Recaro sport seats also look quite supportive.

We spy the Ford Mustang King Cobra early at SEMA

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

As is the case with most auto shows, waiting for the reveal of hot new models is the worst part. So, while our own Drew Phillips has been wandering the halls here in Las Vegas since they unlocked the doors for SEMA 2014, we didn't expect him to come back with any big reveals until later in the day. Until this happened.
Meandering by the Ford stand, Phillips eagle-eyed a trunk lid that caught his attention. Popping out from an otherwise draped 2015 Mustang, the matte black lid clearly has the name King Cobra embossed on the rear.
That name is interesting for a few reasons: to start, Ford hasn't used the Cobra name (without "Jet" attached) since way back in 2004, so a new snake is certainly something to take note of. Second, the King Cobra name dates all the way back to the ill-remembered Mustang II, meaning there is a clear link to Blue Oval history here.
